Grasslands

The perspective in this piece is intentionally low, where our eye level is in the grass. The work centers on learning to shift perspective, and on how perspective-taking is fundamental to both seeing and making art. This painting asks how the world changes when we imagine ourselves smaller than we are, what details we overlook when we remain locked in our own viewpoint, and whether beauty itself shifts when perspective changes.
