Imperfect Harmony
Couldn't load pickup availability
A diptych inspired by a Cezanne landscape of the south of France, where I spent weeks in near solitude during a residency. The work comprises two panels designed to speak to one another, exploring the definition of harmony through balance rather than symmetry. The abstract, wabi-sabi landscape is distributed equally across both canvases, embracing both imperfection & incompleteness. Wabi-sabi asks whether broken or unfinished things can still be harmonious and beautiful.
